Prior to her role at DCN\, she owned an HR consulting firm\,  where she drove human capital strategies for small business owners who did not have an internal HR function. She successfully led the Employee Engagement function during Cabela‘s transition to a publically traded entity and facilitated the start-up operation at SK Hynix in the Colorado market.  \nArica’s earned her certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds the designation of Accredited Discovery Insight Practitioner. With a foundation in these credentials\, she has effectively shaped her 20+ years of professional experience to deliver transformative outcomes (tied activites to outcomes) across various industries and organizational settings. \nFun Facts about Arica: \nShe lives in Colorado with her husband\, and two dogs\, Cali\, and Aspen. Grisel worked in some of the most complex and exciting projects we have seen in Denver and other parts of the country. Through her work in community service while at Turner\, she fell in love with the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado and quickly became involved with the organization. Today\, Grisel sits on the board of directors and continues her engagement efforts not just with the HCC\, but also with other organizations in Colorado and Nebraska. \nIn 2024\, Grisel was ready to take on a new challenge and accepted her role with Gilmore Construction. Her favorite part about the new role is getting to work with small businesses through collaboration and good relationships. She also enjoys learning from those companies and being a resource to them and anyone else looking to grow withing the construction industry. \nGrisel has now been the recipient of many awards in our industry including the 2025 Bisnow Women Shaping Real State Award\, and the 2025 Engineering News Record National Top 20 under 40 Professional.
