SUMMARY:An Introduction to Finance and Accounting for Contractors
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW\n					\n					\n				\n								\n				\n				\n				\n									This course is designed for employees beginning their management careers and those considering a transition into managerial responsibilities. We will begin with the basics of accounting before exploring examples of banking\, budgeting\, and forecasting. By the end of this 8-hour course\, you will be able to: Describe the basics of accounting\, including: Accounts payable\, Accounts receivable\, Accounts needed for banking\, Tax review with a CPA.Reproduce the steps involved in construction business planning\,Explain the function of budgeting and forecasting in a construction business\,Summarize the financial considerations for operating a construction business. Part 2 of this course is February 22 from 3-7 pm. This is one of a series of courses presented through a Colorado Skill Advance Grant submitted by the NoCo Construction Partnership\, City of Fort Collins and City of Loveland. John has 30 years of experience leading teams as a project manager\, sales manager\, Global Product Manager\, International General Manager\, International Field Engineer and US Navy Nuclear Submariner.
