Business Planning and Formation, Parts I & II (English)

This course is designed to guide contractors through the essentials of starting and running a successful business. Participants will explore various legal business structures, develop a comprehensive business plan following the SBA model, and gain an understanding of accounting and financial statements. This course also covers important start-up considerations, building an effective team, and understanding market forecasts to achieve long-term goals.

Class Objectives:

  • Understand the basic types of legal business entities
  • Create the essentials of a business plan using the SBA Model
  • Learn accounting basics and understand financial statements
  • Explore key start-up considerations
  • Learn strategies for building your team

Part II of this course is Thursday, March 6 from 3 – 7 pm.

This course will be taught by an experienced instructor through Live Remote – so you can attend in the comfort of your home or office. Zoom link will be provided prior to class start date.
