SUMMARY:Finance and Accounting for Contractors
DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for employees beginning their management careers and those considering a transition into managerial responsibilities. We will begin with the basics of accounting before exploring examples of banking\, budgeting\, and forecasting. By the end of this 8-hour course\, you will be able to: Describe the basics of accounting\, including accounts payable\, accounts receivable\, accounts needed for banking and tax review with a CPAReproduce the steps involved in construction business planningExplain the function of budgeting and forecasting in a construction businessSummarize the financial considerations for operating a construction business								\n				\n				\n				\n									This is a two-part course. Part 2 will be held on Thursday\, October 10 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. 								\n				\n				\n				\n									This course will be taught by an experienced instructor through Live Remote – so you can attend in the comfort of your home or office.
