This engaging and supportive learning experience is guided by the knowledge and experiences of you and your fellow participants. By the end of this 8-hour training\, you will be able to: Consider key factors for accurate estimating and biddingDefine ways to assess and manage riskIncorporate certified payroll considerationsMake appropriate cost considerations for contracts and design documentsAssess how application for payment\, schedule of value\, and change orders impact the financial viability of a projectSummarize contractors’ rights with respect to lien waiversUse business planning and scheduling strategies to develop a business forecast.Part II will be held on Thursday\, November 16 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm on Zoom. This is one of a series of courses presented through a Colorado Skill Advance Grant submitted by the NoCo Construction Partnership\, City of Fort Collins and City of Loveland. NOTE: Section 601 is taught in English by an experienced instructor through Live Remote – so you can attend in the comfort of your home or office. Section 602 is taught in SPANISH by an experienced instructor at the Latino Chamber of Commerce in Longmont. 								\n				\n				\n				\n							\n					\n				\n				\n			\n							\n				\n									\n						John Benjamin					\n				\n									\n						Front Range Community CollegeJohn Benjamin has delivered training to a variety of companies and organizations in finance\, project management\, operations\, successful leadership\, crucial data decision making\, critical thinking and problem solving.  In addition to professor\, trainer and international business coach – John spent several years as a project manager for both Woodward and GE\, where John’s projects ranged from small hydropower plants to large gas turbine power plants.  John has 30 years of experience leading teams as a project manager\, sales manager\, Global Product Manager\, International General Manager\, International Field Engineer and US Navy Nuclear Submariner.
